The small jobs nobody else wants to do
A light fitting, a socket moved six inches, an outside plug for the jet washer. Plenty of electricians won't get out of the van for those. Carl will, and he'll do them properly.
Why small jobs still need a proper electrician
Moving a socket or adding a light looks simple, but it means extending a circuit. That circuit needs the right cable, protection and testing, and some of it has to be notified under Part P of the Building Regulations. Get it wrong and you've got a hidden fault behind the plaster.
- Jobs tested and certified where appropriate, however small
- Tidy work: filled, made good, dust sheets down
- An honest heads-up if we spot anything unsafe while we're there
Carl's tip: save your little jobs up. Three or four small jobs done in one visit costs far less than calling someone out for each one. Use the list builder below and send it over in one go.
